About Us

St. Andrew’s Centre, owned and operated by St. Andrew’s Housing Ltd., is a charitable non-profit seniors independent living housing organization dedicated to providing “Enhanced living through Community and Faith”.  A non-denominational residence, St. Andrew’s is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors.  The Centre affirms the dignity and worth of human beings and people are viewed as brothers and sisters who have the right to equal opportunities, to be fully themselves and to freedom of opinion and belief.

The Mission of St. Andrew’s Centre is to provide safe housing for seniors with access to support services and social opportunities that enhance and maintain their highest level of wellness. Housing and other services provided by the Centre are available to the total community and are provided within a Catholic context as exemplified in the Gospel of St. Matthew (25:35-40):

 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.  Naked and you clothed me, I was ill and you comforted me, in prison and you came to visit me.  Then the just will ask Him, Lord, when did we visit you when you were ill or in prison?  The King will then answer them, I assure you as often as you did it for one of the least of my brothers or sisters, you did it for Me.
