We are currently looking for a casual Food Service Worker to work on an needed basis with no guaranteed hours

  As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing food items, taking food orders and serving to seniors, operating the Point of Sale system, balancing cash, cleaning and sanitizing in the kitchen and dining area. Experience working in the food industry or related area.

 The successful candidate must complete the Police Information Check including a Vulnerable Sector Check prior to starting in this position and the financial responsibility of the candidate.

Maintenance

We are currently looking for a full time Maintenance Worker (40 hours per week)

The position will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible to complete work orders in the resident suites, perform other routine maintenance jobs such as plumbing, minor electrical, thermostat adjustments, zone valve knowledge and HVAC, renovations, painting, tiling, dry wall repairs in suites. Perform lawn maintenance (e.g., grass cutting, etc.). Snow/ice removal utilizing tools such as snow blower, shovel, blower, etc.)  Rodent, pest control, etc. Basic carpentry, plumbing and handyman skills would be an asset and three years’ experience working in residential building maintenance. Must be available to work on call as required.
