Dear Residents, Staff, Loved Ones and Visitors:
We continue to navigate our way through these unprecedented times and move forward with confidence and determination to keep our Centre safe and well. Our knowledgeable and skilled team adapt daily to ensure we are delivering quality, best practice services within the everchanging regulations.
We are following all guidelines under the provincial health authority and have received additional measures to follow as of today, December 24, 2021.
Can residents go off site and engage in any activity they desire?
• Yes, like all Albertans, residents are able to engage in any activity off site that they desire within the limits of any current public health orders. New measures to protect the health care system, stop the spread, and increase vaccination rates come into effect starting December 24, 2021.
• Residents who are absent for more than 24 hours regardless of their immunization status are required to actively screen daily for symptoms of COVID-19 and wear a surgical/procedure mask when outside of their room, except when eating or drinking, for 14 days post-return.
The Centre will have the resident daily checklist available for your reference at the health assessment desk or the main office. You are not required to return these to the Center only to have a copy of the checklist and to monitor yourself for signs/symptoms of COVID 19 for 14 days after return to the site. Surgical/procedure masks can be provided to you. These masks will be available to residents at the health assessment desk or the main office.
If you are feeling unwell you must immediately isolate in your suite until all symptoms resolve. Please call the office or security if guidance is required.
I appeal to all residents, staff, and visitors to work together to help us maintain a safe and well community. We all are exhausted but together we are stronger in our efforts to protect each other.
