February 3, 2022 – Illness Watch

Good Day!

We have received reports in the last few days from residents, visitors, and staff of a variety of illness symptoms and/or exposure to a COVID positive case.

As required by the Chief Medical Officer of Health we have reported this situation to Alberta Health and are proceeding as directed by them.

Effective immediately for the wellness/protection of our community we ask that all residents wear masks in the common areas at all times when not eating or drinking. This is already a requirement of staff and visitors who enter our facility. Please continue to be diligent with hand hygiene when entering/using common areas (especially the Garden Café) and after entrance/exit of your suites.

Residents if you are feeling ill, in a way that is not normal for any health condition you may have, please isolate yourself immediately in your suite for a minimum of 5 days and/or until your symptoms resolve whichever is longer. Following an isolation, you must ALWAYS wear a mask for a minimum of 5 days whenever you leave your suite. I kindly ask that you report to the office if you are ill so that we may monitor and assist with individual situations if required.
